It’s clearly time for Apple to re-think the Think Secret lawsuit, in which Apple is suing a small independent website for posting news stories about upcoming products.

With the addition of the Electronic Frontier Foundation to the case on the side of Think Secret, it’s increasingly clear that Apple is doing itself massive public relations harm by continuing to pursue this suit.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the lawyers at Apple are leading this company into stupid, stupid errors that just make Apple look like Microsoft: a big, bad, ugly bully on the technology landscape.

Little clue here: you want the press on your side, not against you.
